Brass C36000, commonly known as free-machining brass, contains a small amount of lead (approximately 3%) to enhance machinability and is one of the most widely used copper alloys in CNC machining. It enables high-speed cutting, low tool wear, and excellent surface finish, making it an ideal choice for high-volume production of precision parts. However, it offers relatively low strength and limited corrosion resistance.
