Brass 280 is a brass alloy primarily composed of copper and zinc, also known as α+β dual-phase brass. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and thermal conductivity, resisting rust in freshwater, seawater, and most industrial environments. Its strength can be further enhanced through cold working, making it suitable for structural components requiring load-bearing capacity or use in corrosive environments such as marine settings.
